The Southern Poverty Law Center

The Southern Poverty Law Center is dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of our society. Using litigation, education, and other forms of advocacy, the SPLC works toward the day when the ideals of equal justice and equal opportunity will be a reality.

Founded in 1971 at the height of the Civil Rights movement, the SPLC continues to be one of our country’s most active and powerful organizations fighting to protect our nations’ most cherished ideals for those who have no other champions.

Weinberg Village Waimanalo

Weinberg Village Waimanalo is a service-enriched transitional housing program for homeless families with minor-aged children on the island of Oahu.

Their mission is to create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where the children can grow and flourish while the parents focus on building skills that will lead to self-sufficiency and permanent housing.

The organization recently lost a $100,000 government grant which helped to pay for a majority of their operating costs. Financial donations are always welcomed and will help defray this recent loss of funds.

Physical donations are also always needed. This includes household items such as linens, towels, blankets and toiletry items. Donations can be brought to Paliku Theater on the day of the concert. Collection bins will be in the main lobby before and after the concert.
